May Birthdays

May is birthday month for the boys.

Gary turned 18 on May 8th, 2009.

Gary had his favorite Butterscotch Krimpet Cake

Then Zachary turned 7 on May 29th with

a family tradition of a Pepperidge Farm Cake.

Triple Chocolate, of course!

The month of May was filled with puddles and piles to clean and training to get under way. All very exhausting work as you can see.

Don't you know we got a pair of wrastlers!

But atleast we got them to learn to sit!

Welcome Allie and Bella!

Our new puppies joined us on April 3rd, which was just in time for spring break 2009. May the training begin! We named this one Alagaesia (with the white), but we just call her Allie. Those who like fantasy YA Novels may recognize her name.

For those of you Harry Potter fans out there you will recogzine the all black dog named Bellatrix, which we call Bella, which happens to throw a nod Stephenie Meyers way as well for her character in Twilight.

Anna's Baptism

Anna procrastinated until the day before she turned nine to get baptized.

Our family from Pennsylvania traveled to celebrate this special day with us.

Then we promptly partied in the normal Riley style with tons of friends!

2009 New Additions

We are currently awaiting our new additions to our family. We are getting 2 lab/sheppard mix puppies from a friend who had a litter of 8. We are so excited to have our puppies join us on April 2, 2009. They are probably 4-5 weeks old in this picture. These two are being called "the buddies" by the owner because they are always together.

The reason we are getting two is because Trish can't bare to seperate them from their mother and their sister and only take one. So she rationalizes that two is better than one, that they won't be lonley, and will still feel like part of the pack with their sister along for the ride. Picking out names is going to be the hard part along with the waiting. oh...I wonder...what kind of forboding is there since these adorable little girls were born on Friday the 13th. **whaaaaa** crazy spooky laugh**

2007 & 2008 under construction...kinda a blur

Christmas of 2007 we tried to be clever!

Spring Break of 2008 we were in Lehigh Acres Florida visiting Mom & Dad Riley.

2007 we spent July 4th in Pennsylvania, as usual.

We had to yank a tooth in 2007. We let the long string hang as Zach walked around the house then when he was not expecting it we grabbed the string and the tooth came out.

In 2007 Anna was chosen as a Cougar with Character.

Then in 2008 Zach was chosen for the same honor.





And at some point in 2008 I played guitar hero at a party.

I have pictures and still need to organize them, and learn how to edit this program... going back I have newsletter that I sent for 2005-2006 out to friends and family so that was realitively easy to convert over. Please be patient... I am trying to be better in 2009...and I am a work in progress.
