Crafting a great bag...



This is the bag empty...



This is the bag filled...

for my mom for Christmas...she had many requests and I had many goals...I wanted the bag to be reversible dark for fall and light for spring...with several pockets and washable., My mother requested a top zipper, an inside zipper pocket, and adjustable strap and a print that was...well a pain in the butt to find, not to floral, not to graphic, not to colorful not to drab and kinda like a fancy smanchy designer. Well my sister got an ear full of my complaining about my mother...but all in all the bag turned out well and she was happy.,

More Respect...

Anna got another Pillar award....for respect AGAIN! Wow...what a kid.

 

Jeans...part duex...

 I repurposed a pair of my oldest sons jeans...

and jazzed them up girly style, turns out it is one of the best bags I have ever lugged around.

I should have done this years ago. Even made a coordinating wallet.

Relief Society Christmas Party

tho I was unable to attend...the part I executed turned out ok in my book...

Girls Night Out...

Well the girls at work talked me into going out with them to a club...what a wacky night!

 

After I sifted through my church clothes and realized I had nothing to wear at a club, there was an intervention by my sister, my daughter and the girls at work...and some how I managed to shop and not look like an old bag lady.

 

I was out to eat without my children... OMGOODNESS!

We waited in line at the Club...

Had VIP Seating...

and kicked it with the girls!

 

 



DIY Laundry Detergent...

So this exciting thing about making homemade laundry detergent has exploded...

Because 2 ingredients are always sold out at Wal-mart! Washing Soda and borax! OMGoodness!

Eventually I did find what I wanted...and tried it...and loved it.

Can't see me spending the money to buy brand names again.
